The field of early childhood education offers one the opportunity for a fulfilling and rewarding career. It is for a wide range of people who have an interest in children’s growth and well-being and the quality of care children receive. The ECE programme will prepare graduates who will be highly qualified early childhood professionals and practitioners, proficient in the field of early childhood education in line with the government’s aspiration of upgrading the early childhood profession. Graduates will have a strong foundation of educational philosophies and theory and will be competent in current pedagogical approaches and practical skills. They will have the ability to create a learning environment that facilitates learning and the total development of the child.

Early childhood practitioners also work for a variety of employers such as:

Quality
The Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) aspires to produce ECE teachers who are equipped with professional knowledge and excellent teaching skills in the field of early childhood. By promoting quality early child care and education, graduates in this field will ensure that children develop to their full potential. The ECE courses are taught by highly competent, qualified and dedicated lecturers with profound experience in the field of ECE.
Affordable
Tuition fees for the Diploma in Early Childhood Education programme are kept at an affordable level, to ensure that the programme is made accessible to all those interested in pursuing a good quality education in ECE.
Recognition
The Diploma in Early Childhood Education has attained the provisional accreditation by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency and Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia.
Study Pathway
A collaboration is being pursued with the University of Canterbury and the University of Auckland in terms of developing pathways to a New Zealand degree.
MOA: MAHSA University and MISKL
An MOA was signed between MAHSA University and MAHSA International School (MISKL) on the 1st of July 2109. The MOA is for the purpose of establishing pathways to enable the students of MAHSA University pursuing ECE, to use the facilities and to intern at MISKL which offers nursery and pre-school programmes following the British Curriculum Standards.
