ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Diploma in Islamic Communication Eligibility Requirements

1. Have an SPM certificate or equivalent with a minimum of 3 credits including English; or 
2. Passed STPM or equivalent with a minimum of Grade C (NGMP 2.0 in any English subject and proficiency at SPM level or equivalent; or 
3. Pass STAM with minimum Maqbul grade and English credit at SPM level or equivalent;
4. Pass SKM Level 3 and have SPM with credit in English; or 
5. Passed Certificate (Level 3 MQF) or equivalent and got credit in English at SPM level or equivalent; or 
6. Passed Certificate (Level 3 MQF) in Media and Communications or equivalent; or 
7. Passed UEC with a minimum of Grade B in 3 subjects including English; or 
8. Passed O-Level with minimum grade C in 3 subjects including English; or 
9. Passed Community College Certificate equivalent to Level 3 MQF in related field; and 

• Have SPM with minimum credit in 1 subject as well as English subject credit; and 
• through a strengthening program (if necessary)

or

1. Other recognized qualifications are equivalent to it.

English language competency requirements for international students; TOEFL 500 score or IELTS 5.0 or equivalent.

Note: English credit conditions at SPM level for candidates (II), (III), (Iv), (V) and (iX) can be excluded if the qualification contains English subjects and the achievement is equivalent to / more than the subject credit requirements at the SPM level. (Equality of subjects is the responsibility of HEPs and HEPs need to have strong internal policies / procedures in evaluating such equality).
