Programme overview

Students will be equipped with specialized computing knowledge and skills in business administration. The management information systems major focuses on the concepts and tools necessary for planning, analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining organizational information resources. Graduates of the programme will be able to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams to formulate and provide creative, innovative, and effective digital solutions on problems related to business information systems with relevant technology.

Academic Requirements

• STPM: PASS in at least 2 subjects (with minimum CGPA of 2.0) & MATHEMATICS (PASS at SPM level) or its equivalent

• GCE A-LEVEL: PASS including PASS IN MATHEMATICS

• UEC: MIN GRADE B IN 5 SUBJECTS including PASS IN Mathematics

• DIPLOMA: in related field (Computer/Business Fields) MIN. 2.00+ CGPA or in other fields MIN. 2.00+ CGPA & MATHEMATICS (PASS at SPM level) or its equivalent

• FCE / HEP / MATRICULATION: MIN. 2.00+ CGPA & MATHEMATICS (PASS at SPM level) or its equivalent

English Language Requirements

FOR MALAYSIAN STUDENTS

• SPM/SPMV: Minimum pass; OR

• IGCSE: Minimum pass; OR

• Any equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government

FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

• IGCSE: Minimum pass; OR

• MUET: Minimum band 3; OR

• IELTS: Minimum band 5.5; OR 

• TOEFL: Minimum score of 410-413; OR

• Any equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government

** Validity of test results:
-MUET: 5 years
