About Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL)
Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL) has been educating scholars for over 20 years in fields such as Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Business, Accounting, Information Technology, Corporate Communications, English Language Studies, and Biotechnology that are highly sought after in this modern era. IUKL is the first full-fledged infrastructure university in Malaysia that emphasizes the importance of integrating hard as well as soft aspects of infrastructure to produce well-rounded technopreneurs with outstanding communication, technological and managerial skills.
Programme outline
With its university status, IUKL awards its own Foundation, Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree and PhD programmes.
All of IUKL‘s programmes have been approved by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia and the majority of the programmes have been fully accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
Internationally, IUKL is also certified with ISO 9001:2008 and accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) – an assurance of commitment to quality management and education. Besides that, IUKL is also an approved MSC status institution.
Campus Information
IUKL's lush 100-acre (0.40 km2) campus is nestled in the vicinity of Kajang town, which is located conveniently between Kuala Lumpur, the commercial capital of Malaysia, and Putrajaya, the administrative capital.

The campus is easily accessible via the North-South Highway (or Seremban Highway) and is only a 35-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur city centre. Students can also make their way to IUKL via KTM Komuter service to Serdang Station and then get on to IKRAM/IUKL feeder bus service.

Accommodation
Students who prefer a modern accommodation equipped with 24-hour security, a swimming pool, gymnasium and free self-service laundry, they should opt for staying at the Student Residency @ Unipark Condo. The residence is fully furnished for students' convenience and it's equipped with the essential facilities. The condo units overlook the green parks of IUKL, giving it a peaceful and relaxing ambience. All amenities are accessible within walking distance
Besides that, IUKL hostel is a home to many female students who prefer to stay on campus and enjoy the inexpensive option of living there. In addition, students are able to walk to their classes nearby. Basic furniture is provided and students who need additional fittings including necessities and toiletries for the shared bathrooms would have to purchase it themselves. Their safety is ensured as there are security services at the hostel entrance at all times and wardens regularly patrol the campus grounds. All amenities are accessible within walking distance.

Career Development
The main aim of the IUKL Career Development unit is to help our students to identify and choose the best career options available to them. The process of career planning and development starts as early as when the student begins their programme with IUKL.
We act as a liaison between students, employers and various faculties within the University to establish and facilitate employment opportunities. We also support, train and lead students and our Alumni as they build their careers.
Internship
An internship is a brief period of on-the-job training in an organization. The main objective of internships is to educate and allow students to have the opportunity to acquire first-hand experience in the real working world while developing professional skills. Students will acquire knowledge of the continuously evolving world of work.
Internship is offered to Bachelor and Diploma students to fulfil the partial requirement of the particular degree or diploma and is offered in the final year of study, subject to the programme requirements.
Internships may take place in firms, public and private institutions, professional studios, international organizations, diplomatic agencies, cultural institutions and other organizations.
