Our professional communication students will gain ample exposure to real-world practices with real-world practitioners within the field. Through meticulously designed projects, industrial collaborations, and industry training, a holistic education is part of our students’ development.
The programme is designed to enhance student’s versatility on the knowledge and skill set required in the professional field of media and communication. Students will be exposed to industry practices and have hands-on experience of working with real-life industry pitches, projects, and assignments.
We aim to produce graduates who are industry-ready, who can make a positive impact on any organisation as soon as they begin their chosen career.
This is a Dual Awards programme offered in collaboration with our UK partner university, the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) & the Swansea College of Art. Upon completion, students will graduate with a degree certificate from both IUMW & UWTSD.

ASSESSMENTS
On this programme, students are primarily assessed through coursework. Classes are held face-to-face, which includes lectures and tutorials (offline and online). Our students are expected to demonstrate their understanding through several forms of assessment, including but not limited to; exams, quizzes, reports, projects, presentations, and exhibitions.
Students are expected to undergo six (6) semesters and one industrial training (12 weeks) which amounts to 124 credit hours
