The programme is to develop students’ skill and understanding of finance from conventional and Islamic perspectives. It provides students with both theoretical and operational knowledge of finance to develop necessary technical skills and integrate them in contemporary application of Islamic finance. Besides providing students with the conventional knowledge in each module, technical skills are taught from Islamic perspective with emphasis on Islamic jurisprudence as guiding principles, so that students can apply finance knowledge. Thus, the Bachelor of Islamic Finance programme will increase student’s knowledge and skills in specific areas of finance. This programme emphasizes on integration of Islamic jurisprudence knowledge and conventional operation of banking and finance to produce outstanding graduates with in-depth understanding and meet market demand in the fast growing industry.
