ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Malaysian Students
NOTES
Specific requirements at SPM level can be waived should the grades obtained at the STPM / STAM / Diploma / Matriculation / Foundation are equivalent or higher.
International Students
- A Level with 2 Principal passes or equivalent, recognised by Malaysian Government or fulfil any other entry requirements that are recognised by the University Senate; AND
- Minimum Credit in Additional Mathematics in O Level; AND
- IELTS Band 5.0/ TOEFL 500
English Competency Requirements
All international students are bound to the English Competency requirement set by the University and the Malaysian Qualification Agency except those who are:
- From countries where English is the official language; OR
- From an academic institution which uses English as its main medium of instruction.
UWTSD Requirements (if you spend a semester abroad)
- IELTS Band 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 for each component

ASSESSMENTS
Assessments under the Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) are varied, and are either based on; Full coursework (100%) or a combination of coursework (60%) and a final examination (40%). The delivery methods include lectures, tutorials, practical, research projects, seminars, industrial visits etc. Our students are expected to demonstrate their understanding through several forms of assessments, including open/closed book final examinations, practical assessments, quizzes, presentations, class participation, report-writing, mini projects, and research project with project report / viva-voce.
Students are expected to undergo six (6) semesters and one industrial training (minimum of 16 weeks), which amounts to 120 credit hours
