This is a training course tailored for people who are interested to become Licensed Tourist Guides under the purview of Ministry of Tourism in Malaysia. KAGC has been given the approval by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture (MOTAC) to conduct the licensed Tourist Guide course. KAGC has proven excellent results and has continuously achieved the top best results released by the Ministry of Tourism. Since its inception, KAGC has worked closely with the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia, championing projects, researches and trainings to improve the industry standards.
Our honoured lecturers and trainers are proficient in the fields of Cultural Heritage Specialist Guide – a field which is recognised and endorsed by UNESCO and qualified by MOTAC. There are about only 16 professionals who are qualified to train in Malaysia, and at KAGC College, we have 3 of such trainers to expand the tourism industry through education.
The Licensed Tourist Guide training programme is designed to give you the skills and knowledge necessary to maximise your career opportunities in the tourism industry, at the same time meet the expectations and requirements of the tourism industry. This is the reason why our students are highly sought after by the tourism markets.
The Tourist Guide classes are conducted by experienced senior practicing tourist guide lecturers in either English or Mandarin. Our lecturers who has years of industry experience use proven training methodology in their teaching in order to create better tourism professionals. The intricacies of tour guiding are also imparted to students through a practical overland training.

SPM / SPVM / UEC / MCE / GCE ‘O’ Level (6 Subjects passes including BM)
SPM from 2013 must include BM & History
Diploma or Degree (Recognized by MOE), or Minimum 5 years working experience in the tourism industry
International Students must be employed by a travel agency
Minimum registration age: 18 years old
