The Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons) programme aims to teach graduates about the design, development and application of information and communication technologies used to help organisations thrive in a challenging business climate.
The programme places an emphasis on acquiring the specialised skills needed for successful and long-term careers in the IT industry. Students will learn how to integrate advanced computing theories with extended core competencies on project management, cyberpreneurship and business intelligence, in shaping industry-ready graduates for the ever demanding IT environment.
Blended with an innovative curriculum, this programme balances theory and practical applications in a broad range of Internet technologies. Students will go through extensive laboratory practice with four months of intensive industrial training designed to provide substantial exposure in the real world. Through this programme, they will develop strong analytical skills and apply critical thinking abilities to solve complex business problems with IT knowledge, principles and practical industry applications.
