Bachelor of Science (Hons) Actuarial Sciences is a professional degree that trains actuaries who are equipped with the capabilities to model and analyse finance-related risks, especially in the banking and insurance industries. Private sectors such as financial planning institutions, corporations, investment companies and brokerage firms have a high demand for skilful actuaries in risk management and financial consulting services.

QIU’s Actuarial Science programme is designed according to the topics and subjects required by the professional examinations of the Society of Actuaries (SOA), the Malaysia Financial Planning Council (MFPC) and the Certified in Quantitative Risk Management (CQRM) certification.
