Early 1980s, Reliance Training Center was set up to train Tour Guides for Reliance Travel. By the mid-1980s, the student population outgrew the training center. Reliance College was then formed in 1987 to serve the enlarged student population.

In 2013, Reliance College expanded out its reach to courses in Business Management, Accounting, Mass Communication, and Event Management.

Reliance College collaborates with the University of Gloucestershire, which ranked among the top universities in the UK. The Business School at the University is one of the largest business schools in the UK with around 3,000 students and 120 staff. With this collaboration, students are able to go through UK’s higher learning at a very affordable cost.

The students gain working experience during the education. They have job offers to wait for them when they complete their studies.

At that time there were no colleges offering such specialized courses in tourism. As a leading tourism and hospitality college, Reliance College makes learning opportunities affordable for many to follow their careers.
