Qualification
Academic Requirements
UCSI Foundation year
Minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00, and pass SPM (or any equivalent qualification) with credit in Mathematics and pass in English.
STPM
Minimum Grade C+ (GP 2.30) in any 2 subjects; and pass SPM (or any equivalent qualification) with credit in Mathematics and pass in English.
A-levels
Minimum 2 principals (E)
UEC
Minimum 5 credits (B6) and pass in Mathematics and English
National Matriculation/Foundation
Minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00, and pass SPM (or any equivalent qualification) with credit in Mathematics and pass in English.
International Baccalaureate (IB)
Minimum score of 26 points in 6 subjects
Canadian Pre-U
Minimum average of 60% in 6 subjects
SAM / AUSMAT
Minimum average of 60% in 5 subjects
Other qualifications deemed equivalent to STPM/A-Level by Malaysian Qualifications Agency
Minimum overall average of 60%
Any qualification equivalent to Diploma in Finance, Banking, Insurance or related field (Level 4, MQF)
Minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00
Other equivalent qualifications

The credit requirement for Mathematics and pass in English at SPM level for the candidate with STPM or Matriculation/Foundation qualification can be waived should the qualifications contain Mathematics and English subjects with equivalent/higher achievement.

English Language Requirements
For local student:
- A distinction (A+, A, or A-) in the English Language subject at SPM/UEC level. If the English Language requirement is not met, student may be required to take an additional English module(s) prior to or concurrently with the undergraduate program based on the University’s decision.
For international student:
- IELTS minimum Band 6
- TOEFL (Internet-based) minimum 60
- Cambridge English Qualification and Test minimum score of 169
- Pearson Test of English minimum score 59
- MUET minimum Band 4
