ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Entry Requirements:

For Malaysian Student

• Pass in STPM with a minimum Grade C+ (GPA 2.33) in any 2 subjects and pass SPM with at least 5 credits in any subject OR
• Pass UEC with at least Grade B in any 5 subjects OR
• Pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid and pass SPM with at least 5 credits in any subjects including English and Mathematics OR
• Pass Matriculation / Foundation in Science and Technology / Science / Arts / Business field or its equivalent from a recognized institution with at least CGPA 2.50 OR
• Pass A-Level in any 2 subjects or equivalent OR
• University Aggregate of 50% or ATAR score of at least 50 for various Australian Matriculation Programs OR
• Completed International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) with minimum of 20 points in 5 subjects OR
• Completed Canadian Pre-University (CPU) with minimum average of 50% in 5 subjects OR
• Pass any MQA accredited Diploma (Level 4 MQF) with least CGPA 2.50 OR
• Pass any MQA accredited Advanced Diploma (Level 5 MQF) with least CGPA 2.00
• Any other qualification that are equivalent and approved by The MERITUS University’s Senate.

For International Student

• Pass Matriculation / Foundation in Science and Technology / Science / Arts / Business field or its equivalent from a recognized institution with at least CGPA 2.50 OR
• Pass A-Level in any 2 subjects or equivalent OR
• University Aggregate of 50% or ATAR score of at least 50 for various Australian Matriculation Programs OR

International Students English Proficiency

• International English Language Test (IELTS)
  – Overall band 6.5 OR
• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
  – Paper based test score of 570 and above OR
  – Computer based test score of 230 and above OR
  – Internet based test score of 88 and above.
• Conditional offers are considered on a case by case basis by the Admissions Committee.
