Overview of Bachelor of Business administration with hons ( Islamic finance planning ) in Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Sultan Malaysia
This study program is a course of study based on the field of business management with a focus on the field of Islamic financial planning. The six specialization subjects in Islamic financial planning include the basics of Islamic financial planning, Islamic financial system, zakat and tax planning, Islamic property planning, retirement and waqf, risk management and takaful planning and Islamic investment analysis. This program is also introduced with courses of Islamic studies such as basic muamalat, Islamic legal policy, aqeedah and akhlaq and others which this course will be an added value to graduates of this program. After graduation, graduates of this program are qualified to hold positions in Islamic finance companies as well as other sectors because financial planning is a key aspect in the organization. In particular, the Islamic finance industry offers many career opportunities to graduates of this program.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
a) GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL NOMINATIONS
i.Matriculation or Recognized Foundation with at least CGPA 2.0 out of 4.0;
OR
ii. Passed Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent to a minimum of Grade C (NGMP 2.0 out of 4.0) in TWO subjects;
OR
iii. Passed Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with at least Jayyid rank;
OR
iv.Any other Diploma with a CGPA of at least 2.5 out of 4.0
AND
Passed Mathematics at SPM
OR level
v.Diploma in Islamic Financial Muamalat (MKI) or equivalent to at least - CGPA 2.5 out of 4.0; (For candidates with a CGPA of less than 2.5 but above 2.0 are admissible but subject to an internal evaluation process)
Note: The condition of passing Mathematics at SPM level for candidates (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv) can be excluded if the qualification contains Mathematics subject and its achievement is equivalent to / more than the requirement to pass the subject at SPM level.
b) SPECIAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
(i) Specialization in the Field of Muamalat
For diploma entry, Diploma Extension and bachelor's degree must be passed in Arabic subject
(ii) Specialization in Islamic Economics, Islamic Finance, Islamic Management and Islamic Accounting Does not prescribe passing Arabic, HEPs should provide intensive Arabic language courses for students.
