Entry Requirement of Bachelor of Business Economics Hons in Universiti Tenaga Nasional UNITEN Malaysia
Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)
A pass in STPM or its equivalent, with a minimum Grade C in any 2 subjects, and Pass SPM with Credits in Bahasa Melayu and Pass in Mathematics and Bahasa Inggeris at SPM level.
Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)
Pass STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid (taken within 2 years prior to application); and Credit in Bahasa Melayu and Pass in Mathematics and Bahasa Inggeris in SPM Level.
A-Level
Pass A-Level with a minimum of 2.00 or Grade C in 2 subjects and Pass.
Matriculation
A pass in Matriculation qualification or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and Pass SPM with Credit in Bahasa Melayu in SPM Level.
Foundation
A pass in Foundation qualification or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, and credits in Bahasa Melayu in SPM Level.
Diploma
Pass Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, and credits in Bahasa Melayu in SPM level.
UEC (Unified Examination Certificate)
A pass in UEC with a minimum Grade B in any 5 subjects.
International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB)
A pass in IB with minimum of 30 points
HND(UK) Diploma
Pass HND in related field with minimum CGPA 2.00.
SAME/WACE/AUSMAT
Pass South Australian Matriculation (SAM) and South Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) with 70%, or South Australia Certificate of Education (SACE) and Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) with Band 2 in 2 subjects.
Others
Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Government of Malaysia.
ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS
For Malaysian Students:
Malaysian students may enrol without MUET. However, students are required to complete MUET during duration of study (before graduation). IELTS (5.0 and above) or TOEFL (500 and above) or TOEFL Internet Based Test (42 and above) is also accepted.

For International Students:
International students are required to have one of the English proficiency score stated below to enrol in UNITEN. Bachelor students who do not fulfill this English requirement are required to sit for the Intensive English Programme (IEP) and pass the requirement below before starting their Bachelor programme.
