Overview of Master of Industrial Engineering in University of Malaysia Pahang UMP Malaysia
The Master of Industrial Engineering programme is designed as a non-thesis master program (one and a half year or 3 semester-programme) for professionals in the area of manufacturing and service systems. The students shall fulfil a minimum of 40 credit hours: 30 credit hours of coursework (compulsory, core, and elective courses) and 10 credit hours of Project or Case Study. The programme aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of graduated engineers to understand the application of different methods in design, development, management, and operation of manufacturing and service systems for industries.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Programme Requirements
A bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the university's senate or;
* A bachelor’s degree or equivalent not meeting CPA of 2.50 can be accepted subject to a minimum of five (5) years working experience in the relevant fields. * Subjected to approval by the faculty council and university's senate.
English Requirements
Local candidates with bachelor's degrees from Malaysian universities are considered comply with the english requirements. No further documentation required.
All international candidates should have minimum qualifications of IELTS band 5.0 or TOEFL 500. The certification should not exceed two (2) years from the date of test taken and registration of candidature. However, for candidates with lower results of IELTS or TOEFL, must attend enhancement module of the pre-sessional english course (PEC).
