Overview of Bachelor Of Economics (Hons.) Business Economics in University of Sarawak Sarawak UNIMAS Malaysia
Business Economics programme aims to produce graduates who are knowledgeable and competent in economics and able to apply it on business environment.
Business economics uses economic theory and quantitative methods to analyze business, organizational structures and the relationships of firms with labor, capital and product markets. Emphasis is given to aspects such as managerial economics, financial management, public finance, investment and portfolio management analysis. Graduates will be equipped with analytical skills and ability which enable them to analyze and identify economic environment and business. The courses are designed to expose students to fundamental of economic development, the role of government, market structure, labour market and investment flow analysis.
Entry Requirements.
CURRENT YEAR STPM
SCIENCE
LITERATURE
Earn at least;
Grade C (NGMP 2.00) at STPM level in any one (1) of the following subjects;
· Mathematics M
· Mathematics T
And
Obtained at least Grade C (NGMP 2.00) at STPM level in one (1) other subject (
excluding General Studies)
And
Obtained at least Grade C credit at SPM level in the following subjects:
· Mathematics / Additional Mathematics
And
Obtained at least passed Grade E at SPM level in the following subjects:
· English
And
Obtained at least Level 2 (Band 2) in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET)
Earn at least;

one (1) of the following subjects;
· Economics
· Business Studies
· Accounting
And
Obtained at least Grade C (NGMP 2.00) at STPM level in one (1) other subject (
