PO1: Engineering Knowledge - Apply knowledge of mathematics, natural science, engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialisation as specified in WK1 to WK4 respectively to the solution of complex Civil Engineering problems;
PO2: Problem Analysis- Identify, formulate, conduct research literature and complex analyse Civil Engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering sciences (WK1 to WK4);
PO3: Design/Development of Solutions - Design solutions for complex analyse Civil Engineering problems and design systems, components or processes that meet specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, cultural, societal, and environmental considerations (WK5);
PO4: Investigation - Conduct investigation of complex analyse Civil Engineering problems using research-based knowledge (WK8) and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of information to provide valid conclusions;
PO5: Modern Tool Usage - Create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools, including prediction and modelling, to complex analyse Civil Engineering problems, with an understanding of the limitations (WK6);
PO6: The Engineer and Society - Apply reasoning informed by contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to professional engineering practice and solutions to complex engineering problems (WK7);
PO7: Environment and Sustainability - Understand and evaluate the sustainability and impact of professional engineering work in the solutions of complex analyse Civil Engineering problems in societal and environmental contexts. (WK7);
PO8: Ethics - Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of engineering practice (WK7);
PO9: Individual and Team Work - Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams and in multi-disciplinary settings;

YEAR 1 ENTRY :
STPM - Minimum 2C including Mathematics & Physics
A-Level - Minimum 2D including Mathematics & Physics
UEC - Minimum 5 credits including Mathematics & Physics
CPU - Minimum average of 60% in 6 subjects inclusive of a minimum score of 60% in Mathematics & Physics
Local Matriculation - Minimum CGPA 2.0
Foundation from other University/ College - Minimum CGPA 2.0
WAEC/ NECO - Maximum aggregate of 15 points out of best 5 subjects inclusive of minimum B’s in Mathematics & Physics
Other qualifications deemed equivalent to STPM/ A-Level by Malaysian Qualifications Agency
* Minimum overall average of 60%, inclusive of minimum 60% in Mathematics & Physics
Subject to School discretion after reviewing transcript & syllabus
* Max credit transfer of 30% of the programme total credits
English Language Requirements :
A distinction (A+ / A / A-) in the English Language subject at SPM/ UEC level ; OR
MUET Band 3 ; OR
A score of 160 (computer-based) / 410-413 (writing-based) / 34 (internet-based) in TOEFL ; OR
Band 5.0 in IELTS
(In the event that the English Language Requirements are not met, student may be required to undertake additional English module(s) prior to or concurrently with the undergraduate programme, based on the University’s decision. International students holding equivalent academic qualifications but which are not conducted in English, are required to sit for the English Placement Test, which may result in the taking of the English Enrichment Programme (1 - 10 months). Students who intend to pursue the above undergraduate programme directly, are advised to fulfil the above English requirements prior to commencing their studies at the University.)
