Overview of Certificate in Business Studies in Reliance College Malaysia

This programme prepares students who wish to further their studies in Diploma programs offered by Reliance College. Students will get a basic understanding in all areas of Business – Marketing, Management, Economics and Basic Accounting. Further to the multi-disciplinary course, students are given an environment to develop their critical thinking and self-confidence.

At the end of the Certificate in Business Studies program, students should be able to:

1. have skills and abilities in the discipline of business management to meet the demand of various industrial sectors and services.
2. apply skills and knowledge learned in the subject to both hypothetical and real business situations
3. operate and supervise a variety of work functions in companies and organizations or to even operate their own business.
4. adopt necessary qualities including leadership, social responsibility, scholarship, community involvement, ethical values and professionalism.
5. analyse and evaluate business decisions using a variety of sources
