Students of the Taylor's Advertising and Brand Management programme are taught advertising creative strategy and brand management to fulfil the market demand which have become more challenging over the years. Students are taught to research, propose, plan and execute projects and campaigns strategically and are taught to use graphic designing and video editing software applications, such as In-Design, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Final Cut Pro.
The degree programme also has five elective modules which allow the students to learn modules across programmes and faculties to produce well-grounded graduates and increase their marketability in the industry. Taylor's Advertising and Brand Management students will graduate with a Dual Award in which they will receive equal recognition and certification from both Taylor's University and the University of the West of England (UWE), UK, with the option to transfer to UWE in the final year.
PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
Students will experience active engagement with the industry through the Professional Media Workshop module and work on real projects through the Advertising Campaign module. In addition, students will undergo a 10-12 week internship experience with advertising agencies, media agencies and marketing communication consultancies provide real life experience and understanding of the various job functions.
This degree programme is compatible with the new Taylor's Curriculum Framework that allows students to mix & match study modules.

This component consists of Common Core subjects, which are common modules across a discipline that provides the fundamental knowledge of the discipline.

UNIVERSITY CORE
This component aims to develop critical thinking, build up social intelligence and cultivate civic responsibility as well as broaden cultural knowledge. These consist of compulsory and nationally-mandated study modules required by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education.
FLEXIBLE EDUCATION
The Flexible Education component provides student the flexibility to study modules in a related or unrelated field from the same or different school to complement the Primary Major. It may be completed in a form of free electives, an extension, minors or a second major that typically requires at least one (1) semester of student learning time.
