The Doctor of Philosophy is aimed to providee graduates with in-depth knowledge and scholarly leadership qualities  and the ability to communicate critically, objectively and creatively as required in academia, identify and solve problems, conduct cutting edge research and contribute to the advancement of knowledge and ethics, while advanccing lifelong learning.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Students are required to pass the Research Methodology modules (6 credit hours) in the first year of their candidature

REQUIREMENTS

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Masters

• A Master’s Degree, as accepted by the HEP Senate OR other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s Degree, as accepted by the HEP Senate.
• Candidates are required to submit a statement of purpose of their motivation for engaging in this doctoral programme.

• For International students, Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 600 OR International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.5 OR its equivalent is required.

International Students

• IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 600 (May join IEN preparatory course and achieve the IELTS score)
