Overview of MASTER OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION in University of Malaya (UM) Malaysia

The programme synergizes the expertise in political science and public administration of the faculty to develop an interdisciplinary approach in training students to address the challenges of governance, public administration and international relations in the national and regional context. The programme focuses on the fundamental principles, practices and techniques of organisational management related to public institutions. It expose students to relevant theories, and their applications in multidisciplinary fields. The emphasis is on linking theory to research, problem solving skills, as well as professional analysis of a wide range of issues in the areas of policy analysis, public sector management, urban planning design and urban development.

A Bachelor degree with a minimum of CGPA 3.0 or equivalent and sufficient knowledge of public administration or relevant fields
