Course Overview
- Faculty of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering offers Masters of Mechanical Engineering (Coursework) and Masters of Mechanical Engineering (Research). These courses can be studied on a part-time basis which is ideal for those who need to accommodate their studies around other commitments.
- The Master's Degree by coursework programme is designed to extend the knowledge and skills gained from the first degree and to develop new professional skills in the student. The programme involves lectures, seminars and project work. While for Masters in Mechanical Engineering (Research), the students are required to conduct a particular research project under supervision of supervisor/s. Thesis of this project must be submitted towards the end of programme. A viva session will be held to evaluate the award of Masters of Mechanical Engineering (Research). Students may explore wide research areas guided by established experts through departments, research centers and groups.
